Asian Film Academy (AFA)

AFA is a short filmmaking workshop held annually during the BIFF period to discover young Asian filmmaking talent and to provide a foundation for them to network.

It is co-hosted by BIFF and the Busan Film Commission.

AFA not only involves film production but also includes mentoring classes, master classes, special showcases of professor’s works, and meeting programs for alumni and fellows.

AFA has proven its influence as a promising film education platform among international filmmakers.
