Announcement of Successful Applicants for 2021 International Film Business Academy Intensive Program Congratulations on graduates of 2021 International Film
Business Academy Online Program. The International Film Business Academy is the
main course at the Busan Asian Film School, which is devoted to nurturing film
talents who will become future leaders in the film industry in Korea, Asia and
the rest of the world. This year, we select 20 out of graduate of Online
Program and operate Intensive Program in Busan. Total 20 fellows have been selected out of 28 applicants.
The selection results are as follows.
- Commentary on Selection -
The Busan Asian Film School has selected 20 fellows to take part in the
2021 International Film Business Academy Intensive Program, to take place in
Busan for three months beginning in August 2021.
Selections were made based on evaluation of applicants' performance and
participation in the 2021 IFBA Online Program, as well as their progress and
final treatment for the Project Development Workshop.
The selection process was particularly difficult, in that all of the
applicants who successfully completed the online program were judged to be
qualified to participate in the intensive program. Nonetheless, because of
various constraints, it was not possible at this time to invite more than 20
fellows.
We would like to emphasize to those fellows who were not selected that
we were very impressed with their effort and performance in the IFBA Online
Program, and that we will keep in contact with them so that they can continue
to be active members of the AFiS community and NAPNet long into the future.
